Elizabeth PeasleeLead Instructor
Elizabeth Peaslee is a human-centered design practitioner, educator, facilitator and coach who is driven by a desire to rid the world of things that are unnecessarily difficult. She leverages more than 20 years of experience in Design Thinking and customer-centric innovation — including nearly a decade at Sabre and Travelocity — to help companies around the world embrace a people-focused approach to product and service development. At Travelocity, Elizabeth led the company’s customer experience initiative from its earliest days and assembled a powerhouse multidisciplinary UX team that pioneered the company’s acclaimed customer-centric interface. As a lead instructor for LUMA Institute, Elizabeth combines her passion for human-centered design with her love of teaching to help others learn Design Thinking skills and accelerate innovation in new and seriously fun ways. Elizabeth also moderates a Collaborative Good council of product, technology and CX leaders who provide peer support to help each other lead customer-centric innovation in their organizations. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in economics and mathematics.
